Id’ like to open a boutique.Where can I purchase affordable, stylish, good quality clothing?
Intolerant of Stupidity! asked:
I’m from a small town that lacks clothing stores for the “larger” population. I hope to return there to open a boutique. I’m hoping to start with clothing and purses and eventually add other accessories.
I’d like to concentrate on clothing for women size 14+ and BHM (Big Handsome Men), but it won’t be exlusively a “large” size store. I’d also like to sell Junior and Misses clothing. I’d prefer to sell ‘trendy’ designs and name brand labels. I’ve been wondering how stores such as Ross’s and Marshall’s obtain their merchandise.
I’d like to thank everyone in advance, for responding.
TO “FREEDOM” – how do I contact you?

They’re enormous companies with connections direct from the manufacturer, which is probably oversees.
It’s going to be a lot harder to try and do that on local, individually owned setup.

Maybe you should look into a consignment shop. You could take donated clothes, and only put out the ones that are in really good condition, no stains, rips, tears, holes, and so on. The store in my town has a computer program that the donor gets a percentage of the selling. May you should look into somthing like this. Everyone like cheaper good quality clothes for larger people

Good For You on starting your own business.
I don’t know what state you live in to give you any ideas.
But you can call the companies that you want to work with such as Karen Scott and A&Q and so and tell them about your plan. I am sure that you will be able get your business going.
Best of luck to you.
