Why do most men feel when a woman dresses in stylish attire its only to impress them?
Just me. asked:
Do men believe that when women dress stylishly **** ( NOT provocative) that’s its only to impress them? or do some believe its a self esteem issue ?

Sometimes when I like to dress up many always ask ,where I’m going? Sometimes its just a nice feeling to dress up and not go anywhere, but to just to feel good knowing you can look really good and not go anywhere in particular.
Can she look nice for herself ? Not necessarily look for a man’s attention , but to feel good about herself , Why must people always “think” its to an attract the opposite gender and not for a person’s self esteem ?
Its just a question Patton, you know nothing about me.

OK, I wore a suit and tie to class for the first half of a semester, and every single day, every single person I knew asked me why I was dressed up. You’d think they’d of caught on by no, everyday I got ask by both sexes. I just wanted to look like a business man in shorts and I can’t do that. So women shouldn’t be allowed to dress up without being asked the same questions either.

Frankly, yes they do believe that. In general, they assume that a woman dresses “stylishly sexy” to attract attention because a lot of women do. How a woman dresses doesn’t necessarily have anything to do with self-esteem. It’s more of a preference or change in mood. If a man mostly sees you in shorts and a t-shirt, of course he would be interested in why you would choose to wear a dress. They are more creatures of habit than are women. They may not remember what you wore yesterday, but they certainly notice changes.

MOST MEN don’t assume you’re dressing that way to impress them. they KNOW you’re dressing like that to get EVERY mans attention. be truthful, there is nothing as big as a womans ego. i’ll bet you spend more time in front of the mirror with self admiration, than all the guys that look at you.

i love to see old movies. one of the special attractions is the way people used to dress. both the men and women were very well dressed.
i recall mary astor in the maltese falcon. all her dresses were perfectly tailored and every dress fitted perfectly. one of the big attractions of the old movies was the wardrobe. that’s why at the oscars there is a runway type walkway, for actresses to showoff their best evening dresses. unfortunately, we are going through a period when design may be to modernistic and complicated without the fineness that’s also highly appreciated.
its nice to know there are women out there who like to get dressed just to get dressed and look good.
there are some of us out here who like to see women who are well coutured. since i am in california, its unlikely i will see you as you enjoy an afternoon or evening out.

Shouldn’t need to dress up to feel good, but you also don’t need a reason to dress up, i say do what you want and what makes you feel great, Regardless of others opinion’s.
