What to wear to Banana Republic Interview?

Lashenova asked:

I have no idea what I ought to wear to a Banana Republic interview. I called them and they said they are hiring for part time. I have been told to dress trendy, but I want to look stylish as well. Should I wear black pants and a nice top? Or a skirt?
Any advice is welcomed, I need to start doing laundry soon on a few items so I look fresh.
I meant classy instead of stylish. Durh

Best car/convertible for my grandmother?

ALL MY BASE BELONG TO KITTEH asked:

My grandma is looking for a vehicle that gets good gas mileage, is somewhat trendy/stylish, and not a van, truck, or SUV. She would probably prefer it to be under $30,000. Thanks for your help!

Looking for new bars/lounges in Boston?

M asked:

I’m sick of the same old places every weekend. Looking for new places to go in Boston. I’m even open to places near Boston. I want a nice bar/lounge for some mid-20s girlfriends to go for drinks or dancing. We really like trendy/stylish bars where we can dress up. City Bar is one of our favorites.

No Faneuil Hall please! Or bars like that. I’m not looking for college bars.

Fashion question for stylish women 40+ (or their daughters)?

BB asked:

My mom is a really amazing woman, but she wears mom jeans! I’ve tried to loan her some of mine, but they look a little too trendy, not to mention they’re too long for her.

So, if any of you stylish women can give me some brands or styles of flattering, classic, non-trendy jeans, I would appreciate it! I’d like to get her some for her birthday, so be as specific as possible.

If you saw a woman whose weave track was showing, would you tell her?

Cesaria Barbarossa asked:

About a month ago, I saw this very stylish blond with long beautiful hair, dressed very trendy. She worked at a wine bar in my building. Anyways, she took my lunch order and when she turned around I was shocked to see, plain as day, about four inches of track that was not covered with her natural hair. I didn’t tell her, but to this day I wonder if that was wrong of me. I just didn’t want to embarrass her. Would you tell?

How should I do my makeup for an interview?

Sienna asked:

I am interviewing for management positions in a couple trendy companies and want to appear stylish but not gaudy. I know you should err on the side of conservatism for most interviews, but how does this apply to makeup?
I have a fair skin tone, blue eys and blond hair.
